On August 10th and 11th, they’ll be presenting their world premiere of Edgar Allan Poe’s The Tell Tale Heart, at the first-ever ScareLA Halloween convention!
Not familiar with Unbound Productions yet? They’re a highly innovative theatre company, who perform classic stories for today’s audiences. Their annual Wicked Lit Festival, set in a mausoleum, has become a Southern California Halloween tradition.
Meanwhile, their History Lit performances showcase the “storytelling” aspect of history, giving audiences a perspective on life in the past.
At this year’s LitFest 2.0, Unbound Productions offered a readers’-theatre performance of Harriet Beecher Stowe’s Two Altars, Or, Two Pictures In One. Unbound Productions co-creator, director and writer Paul Millet talked about his group’s performance, and their plans for the future.
